Chinese Version .Click Here Geomancy is the name given by Westerners. Basically , there are 2 types of Feng Shui - for the dead known as " Yin Zhai " and for living people, call it " Yang Zhai " . I will not endeavor much on " Yin Zhai " and will concentrate on " Yang Zhai " . There are few name for " Yang Zhai " in the modern day . Art of Placement , Art of Environment , Geomancy and Feng Shui are the name we known .
Principles of Geomancy . Basically , there are 3 main factors in Feng Shui Application . 1 Visible Elements ( termed " Luan Tou " ) 2 Magnetic Elements ( termed " Li Qi " ) 3 Spiritual Elements ( termed " Xuan Shen " )
1 Visible Elements ( " Luan Tou " ) This sector deal mainly with human natural reactions to an environment . It is very important to have the right environment in order to receive good " Qi " ( energy ).
2 Magnetic Elements ( " Li Qi " ) This factor can be applied on visible elements within or outside the house that may convey good or bad " Qi " to one. This " Qi " is the invisible energy that can improve or damages one's luck or worst bring harm.
3 Spiritual Elements (" Xuan Shen " ) This is the individual spiritual believe that can affect one's feng shui . Objects that are used to affect or change your feng shui are : wind chime , talisman , portraits of altar and auspicious objects such as ba gua , mirror etc . These objects have to be placed at the right place to generate good " Qi " to balance the environment. How many schools of Feng Shui that are recorded in the classics book ? The listed schools of Feng Shui , are as follows : 1 Eight Sector or House ( Ba Zhai ) 2 Flying Star ( Zi Bai Fei Xin ) 3 Xuan Kong Fei Xin 4 San He 5 San Yuan 6 Shui Long Jin 7 Xian Hou Tian Shui Fa 8 Ping Sha Yu Chi Jin 9 Fu Gua Shui Fa
How long can one know whether one's house feng shui is good or bad ? Usually , it takes 5 to 18 months to see the effect of a houses feng shui after staying in a house or room .
How long can one know one's house's feng shui has improved if it has been renovated according to feng shui theory advised by feng shui practitioners ? Well , it is very subjective .Below are a few criteria that need to be complied with . 1 Whether your house can be renovated according to feng shui theory . 2 Whether one do it correctly or not . 3 Whether the feng shui practitioner one engaged is good or not .
Many houses that had their feng shui check requires extensive renovation at great cost. Why is yours different ? I adopt 4 " cure "principles in carrying out a feng shui reading. They are : 1 Minimum expense. 2 Least time required. 3 Minimum inconvenience. 4 Practical and acceptable. To adopt the above 4 feng shui cure principles while delivering a good cure is both difficult and complicated. This requires a very high level of competency not only in feng shui but also in other chinese metaphysics. I analyse, evaluate and understand from owners ( on their financial abilities, beliefs etc ) before tailoring a good acceptable feng shui " cure " that suits the client.
